The Equip India Charitable Trust Campus in Hubli, Karnataka, is the heart of our operations. Designed to provide a supportive and empowering environment for people with disabilities, the campus serves as a hub for rehabilitation, education, and training. Here, children, youth, and women with disabilities are equipped with the skills and tools they need to lead independent lives. The campus is a reflection of Equip India’s commitment to providing holistic services that cater to the physical, emotional, and social needs of the disabled community.

Located in the vibrant city of Hubli, the campus is easily accessible and designed to serve the needs of people from the rural areas of North Karnataka. The peaceful and inclusive atmosphere of the campus ensures that beneficiaries receive care and support in a safe and welcoming environment.

Equip India Charitable Trust (EICT) based at Hubballi, is dedicated to empowering children, youth, and women with disabilities across rural India. Since its founding in 1997, Equip India has been committed to equipping people with disabilities with the skills, education, and tools necessary to live independent and fulfilling lives.
Facilities
The Equip India campus is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities designed to meet the unique needs of people with disabilities. Our campus infrastructure ensures that all individuals, regardless of their physical abilities, have access to the resources they need for rehabilitation, education, and empowerment.
Rehabilitation Center
The campus includes a Rehabilitation Center where physical and occupational therapy services are provided. This center is essential for children and youth with disabilities, offering a wide range of treatments and corrective surgeries to improve mobility and quality of life.
Training and Vocational Center
At the heart of our campus is the Vocational Training Center, where women and youth with disabilities receive hands-on training in various income-generating skills, such as handicrafts, tailoring, and computer literacy. This facility enables them to become self-reliant and contribute to their families and communities.
Classrooms and Learning Spaces
Education is a key pillar of Equip India’s mission, and our campus includes classrooms for special education and computer training. Residential Facilities

Community-Based Programs
While the campus serves as a central hub for our operations, Equip India’s impact extends far beyond its physical location. Through our Community-Based Rehabilitation (CBR) programs, we work directly in rural communities to ensure that individuals with disabilities can access the services they need without having to travel far.
Our campus serves as a training ground for community leaders, volunteers, and Village Rehabilitation Workers (VRWs), who are trained and equipped to implement disability-inclusive initiatives in their own communities. By spreading our reach through these workers, we are able to impact hundreds of villages across North Karnataka.
Adaptive Technology and Equipment
The campus is home to advanced adaptive technology and equipment that helps individuals with disabilities regain their independence. This includes customized wheelchairs, mobility aids, and assistive devices that are tailored to the specific needs of each individual.
Our partnership with Wheels for the World allows us to distribute customized wheelchairs, ensuring that every recipient has access to mobility and freedom. Additionally, our campus houses a therapy unit, where trained specialists provide physical therapy and rehabilitation services to children and youth, focusing on improving motor skills and quality of life.
